Terre de Lune Syrah
For those who like their reds, full of flavour, elegant, and delicious!
Founded in 1968 by Francois Klein, and now run by his son Remy and grandson Olivier. The aim of the estate has always been to reflect the different terroirs existing on the land they owned using local varieties. The domaine is 200 and 280 metres above sea level, looking predominantly south east. This altitude and the fact the exposed vineyards are subject to the Mistral wind helps to keep the wines fresh, giving them a lift that makes them both drinkable and excellent wines to serve with food.
All the wines are delicious, and the Lune Syrah is an exceptional example of higher altitude Syrah from this part of the world. It has a fruity nose of dark wild berries. The palate is marked with a mineral freshness and a wild character. Goes so well with roasted or slow cooked lamb or beef.
